Having played it on PC it’s okay, but it’s nowhere close to as good as The Witcher 3. The worst thing though, which the Reader’s Feature didn’t really get into, is that it’s not even that great a game. What they were expecting people to pay for at launch was disgusting and I’m glad that Sony took such a hard line with them about it. CD Projekt took their chance and they were rightly punished for it. The Reader’s Feature about Cyberpunk 2077 at the weekend took the words out of my mouth. It seems this year was the tipping point for many when it came to Call Of Duty, so where is it for Far Cry? It could be number 6 as it doesn’t seem to have done that great (it is in the sales after all) but I dunno, those map icons are kind of calling to me… I’m sure it’s a question many readers have asked themselves about a long-running series. ![]() All I know is that the fake Cuban setting doesn’t really interest me but the bad guy being played by Giancarlo Esposito does. I guess the question is how many times can that happen before it’s too much? Is 6 the limit? 7? 8? I really don’t know. I’ve enjoyed the previous games but I have to admit that 3, 4, and 5 were all basically the same game in a different setting, and so apparently is 6. ![]() ![]() I know it reviewed okay but the main problem is that it’s more of the same, and I’m not sure I do want more. I saw Far Cry 6 in the Black Friday sales, and I imagine it’ll still be around for Cyber Monday, but I couldn’t quite bring myself to pull the trigger on it.
